Larry Trocha operates his training stable in the heart of Northern California’s beautiful Sonoma County. Here he trains top notch cutting horses and working cow horses.

Larry’s professional career with horses started in the late 1970’s. His dream at the time was to train and show California reined cow horses. But, one fateful day Larry was offered his first ride on a cutting horse. That ride totally changed the direction of his career. As Larry puts it, “That horse did things on a cow that I didn’t know horses could do. What a thrill... I knew I was hooked for life”.

Over the years, horses that Larry has trained have chalked up many wins and championships. Some of his favorites include… “Cal Filly Bar”, AQHA Supreme Cutting Champion. “Willy A Dell”, Champion of two Cutting Derbys. “Nap O’Lena”, WCHA Open Reining Champion. “Home Remedy”, NCHA Novice top ten. “Cal’s Condor”, aged event finalist and multiple PCCHA Champion. “Mollie Montana”, Pacific Coast Cutting Stakes Classic Champion.
